Political & Religon Discussions Discuss with people Politics , and religon issues. It is important to remember that words, while a tool for communication, are also a tool of destruction and hate. We are confident that by following these guidelines and rules, not only will we reach a certain level of eutopia amongst the fellow users, the board will become so much more inviting, and we will all be able to maximize its full and absolute potential. The Guidelines are simple and easy to understand: ** The Board Is English so talking should be done in English ONLY. Common English is the language we can all understand. It would make life much easier for all of us if the posts were written in plain English instead of slang and sms text. **The board is a safe haven, not a war zone, for people wishing to learn, understand the other and state their opinions. Here you express your OWN opinion, and NOT the opinion of your people and your government. **It is really important that respect and tolerance are maintained throughout all of the discussions. Think before your write, and don't let your patriot feelings prevail the wise thinking. Let your brain write and not your feelings. Even if others claim that left is right, black is blue, and you are from Mars. This does not mean that arguments are forbidden on the board, they are actually helpful, and promote understanding and learning. However, each user must use his own judgment whether or not what he wants to send in is helpful or just plain aggravating. **It is advised not to send overly emotional and angry letters. If you do want to write an angry letter, you may go ahead and do so. Immediately afterwards, delete it - and start over. Calm people are usually better understood than those in a fit of rage. (It goes without saying that death threats, cursing, and general disrespect are off limits). **If you tell a joke or want to be humorous, please let people know that by using the smile symbol or some other indicator. Your facial expression and tone of voice cannot be seen or heard on the board. **Please, do not send in any chain letters or requests for money. However, all is not lost for spam freaks. Usually people send links to what they want people to look at, including articles and stories you might have found on the web. ** Please do not send the same message more than once in order to convey your opinion and do not spam (open a new thread with the same subject and content that appears in other threads)!
